Amanda qualified from The British School of Osteopathy in 1996. For the first 8 years after qualifying she worked in a large Multi-disciplinary Clinic in Ipswich alongside fellow Osteopaths, Physiotherapists, and Orthopaedic consultants. This enabled her to gain a wealth of experience treating a wide variety of conditions in patients of all ages. During this time she also worked as a tutor at the BSO outpatient clinic.
After moving to Lavenham she was keen to offer her new local community the benefits of Osteopathy and established the Lavenham Osteopathic Practice in 2005. Over the years she has developed a keen interest in treating back pain, from the neck to the pelvis, from acute symptoms to those suffering from chronic conditions. Since moving to Lavenham she has gone on to get married and enjoys a busy and active life with her husband and 3 young daughters.
“I went to see Amanda when I was 29 weeks pregnant as I had terrible back and hip pain. I was a bit concerned that it would not be safe to have the treatment whilst being pregnant, but I was reassured and completely put at ease. I saw Amanda 3 times which was fantastic that the problem was identified and sorted really quickly. I loved that she was easy to talk to and gave an honest opinion of how she could help. I would highly recommend Amanda to anyone, especially pregnant women. You don’t have to suffer with those niggling pains.”
